Bringing Down Some Mixes
In the coming days I’m going to be taking down two mixes from Soundcloud to make space to upload new projects.
The first mix coming down is a recording I did for a radio show on WRFU in Urbana. It will be down by February 18, so get a copy while the getting is good.
I still haven’t decided what to do with this second recording, but at some point I’m going to have to clear out this four hour recording I made of myself live at Boltini Lounge. It may end up on my thus far unused Mixcloud account. But just in case it doesn’t, if you like how it sounds, get a downloadin!
When All Is Ready, I Throw This Switch
Well the new web site is live. I’m hoping it stays that way for a while. Definitely more sections and content to be added. That said, feel free to point your friends (and enemies) at the site!
Slowly getting web site back online
That is how I imagine the server that used to host djmertz.com looked like when my web site went down. Kidding. In reality, the hosting I had was free and managed by a friend that now has a million more important responsibilities than managing web servers. So I’ve migrated to another host. The good part of the move is that I have this new look and feel that I really love. Plus things like SoundCloud embeds, commenting, etc should all work a lot more smoothly.
The bad part of this process, is that I’m going to be spending a lot of time transferring some of the essential old stuff over to this new site. So hang tight if there is a tracklisting you’re looking for. They’re coming back.
And moving ahead, this new site hopefully will be a lot more media intensive as opposed to long long long rambling writings. I’m saving those for the new blog. ;-)
